Chapter One:The Other Wes Moore

The Other Wes Moore  is a biography on one name that has two stories. The first Wes Moore lived in Washington, D.C. and was three years old and had a sister named Joy but called her Nikki. Wes Moore's father's name is Westley and his mom's name was Joy. The other Wes Moore that lives in Baltimore, Maryland and has a brother named Tony. His mom's name was Mary and his father's name was Bernard. They both had very different life's. The first Wes Moore's father died and his mom Joy found another guy named Bill that was an alcoholic and hit his mom. The second Wes Moore's grandma died from a kidney transplant that failed. His dad Bernard was also an alcoholic and never wanted too see him until he was drunk beating on the front door wanting to see him. This is all i know so far because I have only read chapter one.

Civics

Civics is the study of goverment and politics.

Civics is where you learn how too pay your taxes, voting, registering for military service,

serving on a jury, and obeying the law.

Civics is the study of rights and duties of citizenship. In other words, it is the study of government with attention to the role of citizen as opposed to external factors in the operation and oversight of government.

Genre

I would like to make an action game because I think people will be more interested if there were more action games. Action games are more fun then answering questions to a Social Studies game and action games can have lots of learning facts as if you were answering questions for a Social Studies game. There are all kinds of genres like action, adventure, puzzle, strategy, sports, racing games, and many more. I enjoy playing alot of games but I think that action and racing games are my favorite.

Jimmy Carter

Jimmy Carter was born on Oct. 1, 1924 in a small town of Plains,GA. He was an author of 24 books and was also a peanut farmer. Jimmy Carter was not an only child he has two sisters and one brother. His father was James Earl Carter and his mother was Lillian Gordy Carter. His parents married on Sept. 26, 1923. They both have already passed away. His mother died in the year of 1983 and his father died in the year of 1953. When Carter married Rosalynn Smith on July 7, 1946 they both operated Carter's Warehouse. In 1962 he won the election to the Georgia Senate. Then on December 12, 1974 he announced his candidacy for president of the United States and he also won his party's nomination on the first ballot at the 1976 Democratic national Convention and was elected president on November 2, 1976. After he became president he was only there for four years.

Five Years After Katrina

Five years after Katrina hit the city people are still homeless to this day. There were families that would scrounge through things for supplies. They would also cram into there relative's apartments. Until they have discoveref that the FEMA had trailors for people too stay in for a while. Also, the FEMA had sold some trailers too people and also let people stay in them for a while even if there wasn't enough room.

Soon later a co-founder of the St. Bernard Project which was an organization that helps rebuild homes in New Orleans. People would take little jobs too try too support there family and try too get a house. Soon residents in New Orleans are able too recieve a maximum of $150,000 too rebuild there homes. There was people living in houses that only had insulation in them. There was also houses that had drywall in them that would ruin your health. People would soon get houses on there property's or relative's. Pretty soon 40% of victims of Rita and Katrina had flood insurance. But after years with Road Home for funds, they successfully recieved a grant for enough too buy themselves a new one-story home.

My Thoughts About Globaloria

My opion about Globaloria is I really don't know anything about it but you make a video game on it. I have never anything like that before so I hope it's very interesting. I search the web a lot but I never came across that website. So I am hoping that Globaloria is a fun thing too do and I hope that I learn a lot from it!
